This is a fantastic way to start off my year. I am going to be the featured artist, for the entire month of February at the Dog Tired Studio. The Gallery also shows the work of Acrylic Artist Chris Lopez, Oil painter Greg Little, and Woodblock Artist Charles Garret. The gallery is owned by the incredible watercolor artist Sean Callahan.
There will be an official opening on February 14, 2015. I am very happy that it will be on Valentine's day. It adds a special kick to the whole thing.
The theme of the show is to display my art through photography and my journey to this point. There are going to be 16 pieces in total and they are presented in the slideshow below.
All the photographs have been printed onto aluminyzed metal with a metal frame. The dyes are infused directly onto specially coated aluminum. This creates an image with a magical luminescence, vibrant colors, incredible detail and a superior endurance.
I will be visiting the gallery from February 7th to the 16th. I do hope that you drop by and say hello.
